Filming Begins on 'Zeta'

Prime Video has announced the start of filming in Galicia for an action-spy thriller starring Mario Casas ( You Shall Not Kill, The Innocent) and directed by Dani de la Torre (The Unknown, The Unit). The film is written by Oriol Paulo (The Crooked Lines of God, Contratiempo), Jordi Vallejo (You Shall Not Kill, The Innocent), and Dani de la Torre, and will premiere exclusively on Prime Video soon in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of the Prime subscription. Amazon Prime subscribers in Spain will be able to enjoy this film along with deals, free shipping, and entertainment—all in one subscription for just €4.99 per month or €49.90 per year.

In addition, Prime Video has confirmed that Mariela Garriga (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Parts 1 and 2), Luis Zahera (As Bestas, Operation Black Tide), and Nora Navas (Pain and Glory, Los Farad) are joining the cast.

In *Zeta*, four former Spanish intelligence officers are murdered simultaneously at various embassies around the world. The CNI discovers that all of them were involved 35 years ago in the covert “Operation Ciénaga,” which took place in Colombia and in which a fifth intelligence officer—the only one to have escaped the killers—was implicated. Finding him will be the CNI’s top priority, and they assign their best agent, Zeta, to lead the mission. But Zeta won’t be alone on this mission. Colombia is also searching for him through one of its best agents, Alfa, who seems to know more about “Ciénaga” than Spanish intelligence does.

As Zeta and Alpha make progress in their investigation, they will navigate dangers and unearth secrets that have been buried for years. The most hidden and powerful secret of all is the involvement of a sixth intelligence officer in the mission—a spy operating in the shadows whom no one knew anything about, the intelligence officer who appears to be the ultimate reason behind all the murders. His code name: CASIEL.

This original film is a Fonte Films production, with Carla Perez Albéniz (While the War Lasts) and Pablo Isla serving as producers, and Dani de la Torre and Fátima Dapena (Clanes) as executive producers.
