Fonte Films is an audiovisual production company founded in the fall of 2022 with the mission of promoting projects that prioritize quality, innovation, and talent within the industry.
In late 2024, it will release its first two productions: the documentary “Mugaritz. No Bread, No Dessert” (Movistar+), directed by Paco Plaza, winner of the Culinary Zinema Award at the San Sebastián Film Festival; and “La sombra de la tierra” (Atresmedia), a series directed by Elvira Mínguez and based on her novel of the same name.
In October 2025, she launched “El Centro” (Movistar+), a series directed by David Ulloa and starring Juan Diego Botto, Clara Segura, and David Lorente, among others. The production becomes a hit on the platform, securing a renewal for a second season, which is filmed in 2026 and is scheduled to premiere in early 2027.
In 2026, the film “Zeta” (Prime Video) premieres, directed by Dani de la Torre and starring Mario Casas, Mariela Garriga, and Luis Zahera. The film reaches number one in over 30 countries, establishing itself as a global hit.
Filming for the feature film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” co-produced with Atresmedia Cine and Lazona, directed by Salvador Calvo, and starring Marina Salas, Pedro Casablanc, and Daniel Ibáñez. Its theatrical release is scheduled for 2027.
Also in 2026, the film “Love Is Dangerous” (Netflix), directed by Fernando Izquierdo and starring Hugo Silva and Leonor Watling.
