The Shadow of the Earth

In 1896, Villaveza del Agua is a village in the province of Zamora plagued by poverty. The barren farmland and mountains form a remote, inaccessible landscape where Garibalda, a sick widow, rules the community with an iron fist. Opposite her stands Atilana, her eternal rival, who relentlessly aspires to seize the power held by the tyrant. Enemies for many years, hatred is the driving force behind their actions. The struggle between these two selfish and manipulative women will drag down everyone around them, though it will be their children who become the primary victims of this cursed legacy. Neither will be able to see the consequences of their actions until it is too late.
